Ocon reacts to crashing into his teammate: 'I regret it, mistakes happen'
On Lap 1, into Portier, Esteban Ocon tried to pull off and ambitious move on his teammate, Pierre Gasly. The Frenchman, who is notorious among the grid in terms of fighting his teammates hard in the past, left no room for Gasly, and his car flew up in the air. Ocon had to retire from the race, and also received a five-place grid penalty.
