Mercedes gives themselves a pat on the back: 'Felt confident throughout'

Friday's free practice sessions both got off to a very wet start, causing issues for the drivers. With the poor weather conditions, drivers were unable to test their cars completely, and will look towards Saturday's final free practice session to understand fully how their car is performing on the Canadian track. Nevertheless, both George Russell, and Trackside Engineering Director, Andrew Shovlin, appeared happy with the team's peformance.
