Britain prides itself on being the birthplace of motor sport, with - in the eyes of the British - the Grand Prix at Silverstone being the biggest event on the Formula 1 calendar. There is another sport that the British believe belongs to 'them': darts. For decades, darts was an out-of-touch pub sport, often starring Englishmen.
