Perez under a magnifying glass: 'At Red Bull it's always much worse'

When Formula 1 heads to Zandvoort in about three weeks' time for the first Grand Prix after the summer break, Sergio Perez will 'just' be there. As is now well known, Red Bull Racing decided early this week to keep the Mexican as Max Verstappen's teammate. Surprising? Yes, partly, as Perez's performance in recent weeks has been nothing to write home about. Although the driver himself made it clear on more than one occasion that he was confident of staying on at Red Bull.
