That Toto Wolff has been trying to sign Max Verstappen for some time now is no secret. The Mercedes team principal has publicly laid out the red carpet for the three-time world champion on several occasions. Although it was recently announced that Verstappen is definitely not going to Mercedes in 2025, Wolff continues to flirt with Verstappen. Ahead of the race weekend, the Austrian said that communication with Verstappen always remains open.
