F1 full results FP1 in Qatar | Max Verstappen over 1 second down
The first and only free practice session for the Qatar Grand Prix is over. Max Verstappen returned to the cockpit after being crowned champion in Las Vegas and only recorded the 11th fastest time. Charles Leclerc topped the session, with McLaren finishing second and third.
