F1 legend on Alonso's third world title: "Hope he can get it"

Fernando Alonso has endured his toughest season in F1 since his comeback in 2021. Despite the great promise shown in the first third of 2023, the team's performance took a nose dive which they were unable to stop in 2024 despite their efforts. However, the Spaniard is pipped by former F1 driver and motorsport legend, Jacky Ickx, to win the so far, elusive third world championship and disregards age as an obstacle to Alonso's ultimate goal.
