Russell delighted with pace on medium and hard compound, but less so with the soft rubber
Although George Russell posted a series of impressive lap times on Pirelli’s hard and medium tyres, the Briton struggled for one-lap pace on the red-walled rubber, urging Mercedes to find a solution for the rest of the weekend.
