TYRES: Why did Pirelli rule out its softest compound for Singapore?

Formula One's sole tyre manufacturer Pirelli has elected not to bring its softest compound for this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix because it had feared that the track characteristics and the weather conditions could have led to some overheating issues.
