Davidson on Hamilton's dilemma: 'Just trust your team'

It is still a hotly debated issue among Formula 1 fans. What will Lewis Hamilton do next year? The unctuous stories are dizzying before your eyes, but even Anthony Davidson is doing his bit about the British driver's 'crisis'? The 43-year-old former British Isles driver does not see Hamilton switching teams very soon. "Put it this way, I'd be more surprised to see him change teams than walk away. But he says it with some conviction that he will carry on until he gets that eighth title." Davidson told Evening Standard. Hamilton not at ease Hamilton expressed his frustration at the last race, the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, by admitting he was not comfortable in the car when he finished fifth, one place behind teammate George Russell. It again led to question marks over his future and the search for another car or perhaps even leaving the sport. "I'd say don't have a knee-jerk reaction like Fernando Alonso in the past, which hasn't worked out well for him until now. Just put faith in the team that they can turn it around."
