Concerns over continuing Grand Prix in Suzuka? Tsunami alert in Japan
A massive earthquake off the coast of Taiwan has killed at least nine people and injured many hundreds. After the quake, measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale, a tsunami alert was issued in Japan. Warnings of waves three metres high were issued via national TV channels.
